A Prayer Times App Built to Travel With You

Traveling Man is a privacy-first iOS app that calculates daily prayer times entirely on your device — no internet connection required, no account to create, no server that ever sees your location. Prayer times use classical astronomical formulas (Jean Meeus's Astronomical Algorithms), the same mathematics behind established standards like ISNA and the Muslim World League.

The app supports multiple calculation methods and both Asr schools (Shafi'i and Hanafi), so you can set it the way your tradition calls for. Notifications fire before each prayer with a configurable lead-time. Home-screen and lock-screen widgets keep the next prayer always visible — no need to open the app. Day rollover happens automatically around 3 AM so the schedule is always current when you wake.

Traveling Man is a single one-time purchase of $3.99. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising, and no analytics SDKs of any kind. Your data is yours.

Check that location permission is set to "While Using" in Settings.
For notifications, confirm they're enabled for Traveling Man in Settings › Notifications.
Widgets refresh on their own schedule — give them a few minutes after opening the app.
