Winglet Hanger brings Linux containers to the Mac App Store
A native app for Apple silicon that lets Swift developers build and test on Linux with one click, without Homebrew or a command line
BLUEBELL, PA — Winglet LLC today released Winglet Hanger, a native macOS app that runs Linux containers on Apple silicon Macs. Built on Apple’s Containerization framework, Winglet Hanger is available now on the Mac App Store.
Swift developers who ship to Linux servers have had to install command-line tools and manage containers by hand just to find out whether their code runs where it will be deployed. Winglet Hanger replaces that setup with a Mac app: open it, point it at a Swift package, and test on Linux.
