1. Who We Are

Winglet LLC is an independent software company based in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, United States. This privacy policy applies to the Winglet Emblem iOS application (bundle ID: co.winglet-space.emblem), available on the Apple App Store.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Winglet Emblem does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on Winglet LLC's servers:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your location or any device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, serial number)
• Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to third parties
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• The contents of your clipboard, or anything else typed or pasted elsewhere on your device

The app contains no third-party SDKs of any kind — no analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting libraries are included. Winglet LLC operates no backend server for Winglet Emblem.

3. Favorites & iCloud Sync

When you star a symbol as a favorite, Winglet Emblem stores it using Apple's CloudKit in the private database of your own iCloud account, so your favorites stay in sync across devices signed into the same Apple ID. This data is transmitted to Apple's iCloud servers — never to a server operated by Winglet LLC — and is encrypted and access-controlled by your Apple ID under Apple's Privacy Policy. Winglet LLC has no access to your iCloud data.

If you are not signed into iCloud, or disable iCloud access for Winglet Emblem in Settings, favorites are stored locally on-device only and will not sync.

4. Clipboard

When you tap a symbol, Winglet Emblem writes the corresponding SwiftUI code to your device's system clipboard (UIPasteboard) so you can paste it into Xcode or another app. This is a one-way write initiated by your tap — Winglet Emblem does not read your existing clipboard contents, and nothing copied is transmitted anywhere.

5. Local Storage

Preferences such as your last-used category filter and view settings are stored in Apple's UserDefaults on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to Winglet LLC or any third party.

6. No Third-Party Services

Beyond Apple's own CloudKit (used only for optional Favorites sync, described above), Winglet Emblem does not integrate with or transmit data to any third-party service, including:

• Analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
• Advertising networks
• Attribution services (e.g. AppsFlyer, Adjust)
• Crash reporting services (e.g. Crashlytics, Sentry)
• Social media SDKs

7. Apple Platform Data

Apple may collect certain diagnostic and usage data as part of iOS and the App Store, subject to your device privacy settings and your agreement to Apple's terms. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and is outside Winglet LLC's control or access.

If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone's Privacy & Security settings, Apple may forward aggregated, anonymized crash reports to us via Xcode Organizer. These reports do not include any personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

8. Children's Privacy

Winglet Emblem does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13 (or applicable local age threshold). Because the app collects no personal data on Winglet LLC's servers, it is appropriate for all ages. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.

9. Your Rights

Because Winglet Emblem collects no personal data on Winglet LLC's servers, there is generally no data held by Winglet LLC for you to access, correct, or delete. Your Favorites data lives in your own iCloud account and can be managed or deleted at any time through your Apple ID's iCloud storage settings. You also have the right to:

• Ask whether any data about you is held by Winglet LLC — and receive a response within 30 days
• Request deletion of any data you believe Winglet LLC may hold
• Withdraw iCloud access for Winglet Emblem at any time via Settings › [Your Name] › iCloud on your iPhone

10. California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. Winglet LLC does not collect, sell, or share any personal information through Winglet Emblem. No action is required to opt out, as there is nothing to opt out of.

11. EU / UK Residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation and UK GDPR grant individuals specific rights regarding personal data. Winglet LLC processes no personal data through Winglet Emblem beyond what Apple's CloudKit handles on your behalf for Favorites sync, under your own Apple ID and Apple's own privacy terms. The rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection apply where personal data is processed by Winglet LLC — none of which occurs here. 12. Data Breaches

Because Winglet LLC holds no user data on any server for Winglet Emblem, there is no data at risk of being compromised in a breach on our end. Favorites data lives in your iCloud account, protected by Apple's own security model.

13. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy — for example, if a future version of the app introduces features that handle data differently — we will update the effective date at the top of this page and note the change in the App Store release notes.
