About the Founder

Systems engineer turned technology consultant. Built to find the real problem, not just write code.

Yahya is the founder of Winglet LLC, an independent technology consulting firm. Before starting Winglet, he spent years in the field — commissioning robotic fulfillment systems, supporting automated distribution operations for pharmaceutical and industrial clients, and migrating legacy software for companies that couldn't afford to get it wrong.

That background shapes how he approaches consulting today: less theory, more troubleshooting. Time spent on factory floors, in server rooms, and on deployment sites taught him that the right fix is rarely the flashiest one — it's the one that actually holds up under real conditions, on a deadline, with people depending on it.

"Most businesses don’t need more technology. They need someone who can find the actual problem and build something that works."

Winglet exists to be that person — for developers who want a second set of eyes on a hard problem, and for business owners who know something is slowing them down but aren't sure what to do about it. The approach is always the same: understand the real bottleneck first, then build the fix.

Yahya holds a B.S. in Engineering Technology and has led cross-functional projects across robotics, controls systems, and software engineering before founding Winglet. He's based in Pennsylvania, still spends time on the road, and believes the best technology work happens when someone is willing to get specific about the problem in front of them.
